This Intermediate Piano Course is designed for students who have already mastered basic piano playing, and are looking to progress to the next level. This course will focus on expanding your repertoire, developing your sight-reading and improvisation skills, and refining your technique.
This course will cover a wide range of topics including: chord progressions, extended chords, and improvisation techniques; sight-reading skills; and advanced techniques such as arpeggios and pedaling. We will also discuss music theory topics such as key signatures, modes, and the circle of fifths.
Enrollment in this class requires a basic understanding of piano playing. Students should have a rudimentary understanding of both music theory and the piano (including being able to play basic major and minor scales).
This course is designed for those who are looking to advance their piano playing skills and develop their musicality. It is ideal for those who have already mastered basic piano playing, and are ready to take their skills to the next level.
